The first dose of hepatitis B vaccine should be administered within first 12 hours of birth. Vaccines against diphtheria, tetanus, and acellular pertussis; pneumococcal conjugate; and inactivated poliovirus should be administered starting at age 2 months, along with rotavirus and Haemophilus influenzae type b.
