In temperate climates in the Northern Hemisphere, the RSV season generally begins anywhere from mid-September to November and lasts through mid-April to early May. Infection rates generally peak between mid-December to early February, with the exception of Alaska and Florida.
In tropical climates, RSV activity occurs throughout the year and is highest during the rainy season.
