As with breast cancer metastasis to other locations, spread to the lungs may initially be asymptomatic. Dyspnea and cough are common presenting symptoms of lung metastasis. Other symptoms include:

  • Chest pain

  • Repeated infections (eg, bronchitis, pneumonia)

  • Extreme fatigue

  • Coughing blood

  • Wheezing

  • Hoarseness

  • Weight loss
